Alexander Technique - a one-day introductory workshop for beginners

The Alexander Technique is a re-education of the way we move and use the body in every day activities. Alexander Technique can liberate energy locked in negative habits of mind and body;
improve body ‘use’ at home, work and in artistic performance; increase skill in many sports and leisure activities; release the tension and fatigue of some stress related illnesses.

In this introductory workshop we will learn how unhelpful postural patterns and misuse of the body can be prevented, so that, with practise and support, the body can once again become a delightful play of natural forces working in harmony with gravity.
