Introduction to Meditation courses 2010
Our six-week meditation courses introduce two meditation practices - the Mindfulness of Breathing and the Metta Bhavana. Together they help develop relaxed awareness, clarity and compassion. During the six weeks you'll be encouraged to thoroughly explore the essentials and experience the benefits of regular meditation practice. Bookings essential - please print a booking form and return to us with your deposit.

Meditation Day for experienced meditators
A day-retreat  to deepen or re-inspire your practice, raise questions and receive guidance. The focus will be on "Just Sitting" and Sangharakshita's " System of Meditation". Led by Satyadevi. Sunday 2 May,  8am - 5pm. Cost $60. Booking essential. Please bring vegetarian food for a shared lunch.

Saturday morning meditation, 10am
This popular Saturday morning session is open to anyone with some meditation experience who wishes to practise in the company of others. Just  drop in. Entry by koha/dana.
A 40 minute sit, Mindfulness of Breathing or Metta Bhavana alternate weeks.
   
Tuesday morning meditation 9.30am
A meditation session followed by optional discussion group. Entry by koha/dana.

Buddhism
Friends Night, every Monday 7-9pm.
Meet with like-minded people to explore essential dharma for daily life and as a foundation for further study. The evenings start with a meditation.

The Buddha’s Teachings – an introduction
Suitable for people wanting to get a handle on the basics of Buddhism, this course assumes no prior knowledge. However, it will include periods of meditation so it's preferable that participants are familiar with the Mindfulness of Breathing and Metta Bhavana practices. Cost: $50 registration fee then dana (donation).

Dharma Focus 2010
Monthly Saturday afternoon sessions with a focus on Dharma. 1pm to 4pm. Suitable for those with some experience. Entry by koha/dana.
